Shakespeare in Delaware Park is launching its 51st season, enchanting Western New York audiences with classic theater under the stars.
This summer features two mainstage plays: Pericles, Prince of Tyre, running June 18 to July 12, and The Taming of the Shrew, from July 23 to August 16.
Both are staged Tuesday through Sunday at 7:00 p.m. on the Saul Elkin Stage in Delaware Park.
A lively touring show, Fools and Foes, brings Shakespeare's iconic clowns and villains to various community sites all summer, delighting families regionwide.
Every show remains free and open to the public, honoring a beloved Buffalo tradition that welcomes all.

The 20th annual Paddles Up Niagara returns to Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island, New York, on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
This free, family-friendly celebration runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., welcoming paddlers of every skill level.
The âFun Paddleâ tour at 10:30 a.m. lets participants explore Beaver Islandâs lagoon by kayak, canoe, paddleboard, or any human-powered craft.
The event highlights the ecological value of the Niagara Riverâ a vital part of the Great Lakes system, supplying drinking water for nearly a million people and supporting diverse wildlife including many fish and bird species.
Safety crews are on site throughout the day, with registration opening June 1 and special memorabilia for the first 200 who sign up.
Park admission is $7 after 9 a.m., so early arrival is encouraged.

The upcoming grand opening of Highmark Stadium brings a wave of job opportunities to Buffalo.
Legends Global, in charge of concessions and retail, is seeking 500 employees to staff over 50 outlets inside the $2.2 billion venue.
The company will host a job fair on June 15 from 4â7 p.m. at the Kaleida Health Sports Performance Center on One Bills Drive, offering roles from front-line servers and back-of-house staff to positions in luxury and club suites.
General Manager Michael Reilly emphasizes these jobs will enhance both the fan and guest experience, with opportunities to work beyond game days at special eventsâpotentially leading to long-term careers.
